Product Usage Instructions:
1. Safety Precautions:
- Keep the thermometer away from children’s reach at all
times. - Do not allow children to play with or chew on the
thermometer. - If you suspect that a battery has been swallowed or inserted
into any part of the body, seek immediate medical attention.
2. Measuring Bath Water Temperature:
- Ensure that the thermometer is clean and dry before use.
- Place the thermometer in the bath water.
- Wait for a few seconds until the temperature reading
stabilizes. - The temperature will be displayed on the screen. If the word
“COLD” appears at the top of the display screen, it indicates that
the water is cold.
3. Measuring Room Temperature:
- Ensure that the thermometer is clean and dry before use.
- Place the thermometer in the desired room.
- Wait for a few seconds until the temperature reading
stabilizes. - The temperature will be displayed on the screen.
4. Battery Disposal:
- Dispose of used or waste batteries immediately.
- Keep new and used batteries away from children.

e Angelcare Baby Bath & Room ermometer allows you to easily determine the ideal temperature for your baby’s bath water or room. Gently shake the thermometer to turn it ON, the temperature will be displayed and it is ready to use. Without any activity, after 30 minutes, it will automatically turn OFF to power saving mode. For use as a Bath ermometer Fill the bath to a safe level for your child and ensure the water is thoroughly mixed to avoid hot areas and to obtain an accurate reading. Place the thermometer face up in the bath water. e temperature will be displayed within a few seconds. At a temperature of 39.0°C or higher the LCD screen will display `HOT’ and a red light will flash to alert that the water temperature is too high for a baby and could get burnt. A comfortable bath temperature for a baby is between 35.0°C and 38.0°C. At a temperature of 32.0°C or lower the LCD screen will display `COLD’ to alert that the water temperature is too low for a baby.
e thermometer is safe for your baby to play with in the bath with parental supervision as it is designed to Toy Safety Standards. On removal of thermometer from the bath, clean and wipe with a dry cloth or towel and only use non-abrasive cleaning agents such as soapy water if required. Do not immerse in water when cleaning. For use as a Room ermometer Gently shake to activate. 19°C is the ideal room temperature for a baby when sleeping.
e word `COLD’ appearing at the top of the display screen is only applicable when the thermometer is used to measure the temperature of the bath water.

is product contains a Button or Coin Cell Battery. A swallowed Button or Coin Cell Battery can cause internal chemical burns in as little as two hours and lead to death. Dispose of used/waste batteries immediately. Keep new and used batteries away from children. If you think batteries might have been swallowed or placed inside any part of the body, seek immediate medical attention.
CAUTION Do not leave the child without adult supervision. Always check temperature of the water before placing baby in the bath. Only to be used in water in its fully assembled state. Remove the battery during long periods of non-use. Leakage and corrosion candamage the product. Use a battery of the same or equivalent type and ensure correct polarity when inserted noting the positive terminal (+) always face up in battery compartment. Do not short circuit battery terminals. Always make sure battery compartment is secure and sealed. Do not use rechargeable batteries. Changing the Battery After about a year the CR2032 battery may go flat and the display may dim or not appear. Open the cover at the bottom of the thermometer using a coin or similar in the direction indicated on the cover. Insert the battery and ensure the positive sign on the battery (+) is facing up (diagram Fig.1). Replace cover and ensure the seal is in place and tighten cover in the opposite direction to opening as indicated on the cover. If the seal is damaged in any way or letting in water stop using the product immediately. Le thermomètre de bain et ambiant pour bébé Angelcare vous permet de déterminer facilement la température idéale de l’eau du bain ou de la chambre de votre bébé. Secouez doucement le thermomètre pour le mettre en marche, la température s’affiche et il est prêt à être utilisé. Sans aucune activité, après 30 minutes, il s’éteindra automatiquement en mode économie d’énergie. Pour une utilisation comme thermomètre de bain Remplissez le bain à un niveau sécuritaire pour votre enfant et assurez-vous que l’eau est bien mélangée, pour éviter les zones chaudes, et pour obtenir une lecture précise. Placez le thermomètre face vers le haut sur l’eau du bain. La température sera affichée dans quelques secondes. À une température de 39.0°C ou plus, l’écran LCD affichera «HOT» et un voyant rouge clignotera pour signaler que la température de l’eau est trop élevée pour un bébé et pourrait le brûler. Une température de bain confortable pour un bébé se situe entre 35.0°C et 38.0°C. À une température de 32.0°C ou moins, l’écran LCD affichera «COLD» pour alerter que la température de l’eau est trop basse pour un bébé. Le thermomètre permet à votre bébé de jouer en toute sécurité dans le bain, sous la surveillance des parents, car il est conçu selon les normes de sécurité des jouets. Lors du retrait du thermomètre du bain, nettoyez et essuyez avec un chiffon sec ou une serviette et n’utilisez que des agents de nettoyage non abrasifs tels que de l’eau savonneuse si nécessaire. Ne pas immerger dans l’eau lors du nettoyage. Pour une utilisation comme thermomètre de chambre Secouez doucement pour activer. 19°C est la température ambiante idéale pour un bébé, losqu’il dort. Le mot «COLD», apparaissant en haut de l’écran d’affichage, n’est applicable que lorsque le thermomètre est utilisé pour mesurer la température de l’eau du bain.

Ne pas court-circuiter les bornes de la pile. Assurez-vous toujours que le compartiment de la pile est sécurisé et scellé. N’utilisez pas de piles rechargeables. Remplacer la pile Après environ un an, la pile CR2032 peut se vider et l’affichage peut s’assombrir ou ne pas apparaître. Ouvrez le couvercle en bas du thermomètre à l’aide d’une pièce de monnaie ou similaire dans le sens indiqué sur le couvercle. Insérez la pile et assurez-vous que le signe positif de la pile (+) est orienté vers le haut (schéma Fig.1). Remettez le couvercle et assurez-vous que le joint est en place et serrez le couvercle dans le sens opposé à l’ouverture comme indiqué sur le couvercle. Si le joint est endommagé de quelque manière que ce soit ou si l’eau peut entrer, cessez immédiatement d’utiliser le produit.
