Instructions for use

Getting started

  • If present, pull the battery insulating strip off the battery compartment cover or remove the battery’s protective film and insert the battery according to the polarity

General advice

  • Max. capacity 180 kg (396 lb / 28 st), Graduation 100 g (0.2 lb / 1 lb).
  • Cleaning: You can clean the scale with a damp cloth and a little washing-up liquid if required. Never immerse the scale in water or rinse it under running water.
  • Do not use aggressive or abrasive cleaning products.
  • Protect the scale against knocks, dampness, dust, chemicals, drastic changes in temperature, electromagnetic fields, and sources of heat that are too near.
  • Never step onto the outer edge of the scale with one foot as this could cause the scale to tip!
  • Keep packaging material away from children!
  • The device is for private use only and is not intended for medical or commercial purposes.
  • Should you have any questions regarding the operation and usage of our appliances, please contact your local retailers or Customer Service.
  • Before making a claim, please check the batteries and replace them if necessary.
  • Repairs must only be carried out by Customer Services or authorized suppliers.
  • Spent batteries and rechargeable batteries do not constitute normal household waste! They are considered to be toxic waste and, as such, should be disposed of in special containers, toxic waste collection points, or brought to electrical goods dealers. You are legally obliged to dispose of the batteries
  • Note: Batteries containing pollutant substances are marked as follows:
    • Pb= Battery contains lead,
    • Cd = Battery contains cadmium,
    • Hg = Battery contains mercury.
  • The appliance should be disposed of according to Regulation 2002/96/WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment). In case of queries, contact the municipal authorities responsible for waste disposal in your area
