BLQP-RH Rolled Hem Foot

Product Information:

The Baby Lock Sewing Accessories Rolled Hem Foot (BLQP-RH) is a
specialized sewing foot designed for creating small rolled hems on
lightweight fabrics. It features a built-in shank and is ideal for
projects such as blouses and gowns.

With this foot, you can achieve a 3mm double hem while using a
straight stitch. It automates the process, making it easier and
faster than sewing by hand.

Product Usage Instructions:

1. Remove the presser foot from your sewing machine and raise the
   needle to the highest position.
2. Using the screwdriver included with your machine, loosen and
   remove the screw that holds the current foot in place.
3. Attach the rolled hem foot to your machine and tighten the
   screw securely.
4. Position the fabric, leaving approximately 0.5 cm from the
   edge, and sew two stitches.
5. Turn the handwheel towards you to raise the needle, lift the
   presser foot, and pull the fabric forward.
6. Hold the four threads in your left hand.
7. With your right hand, place the edge of the rolled hem under
   the presser foot from where the threads come out. Ensure that the
   edge lies directly under the needle. Lower the presser foot.
8. Gently pull on the threads in your left hand while sewing the
   first 3-4 stitches to hold them in place.
9. Fold the hem over about 0.5 cm and continue feeding the folded
   hem under the foot while sewing towards the curved guide on the
   foot.

This foot is perfect for hems that are too small to sew by hand. It automatically curves under a 3mm double hem while stitching with a straight stitch. This foot includes a built-in shank and works best on blouses, gowns and other projects with lightweight fabric.

6. Hold the 4 threads in your left hand.

INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Remove the presser foot and raise the needle to the highest
position.
2. Loosen and remove screw using the screwdriver included with your machine.
3. Attach rolled hem foot and tighten the screw.
4. Insert needle approximately 0.5 cm from the edge of the fabric and sew 2 stitches.
5. Turn the handwheel toward you to raise the needle, raise the presser foot, then pull the fabric forward.

7. With your right hand, put the edge of the rolled hem under the presser foot from the spot where the threads come out. Insert the edge so that it lies directly under the needle. Lower the presser foot.

8. Pull gently on threads in left hand while sewing the first 3-4 stitches to hold them in place.

9. Fold hem over about 0.5 cm and continue feeding folded hem under foot while sewing towards the curved guide on the foot.
