The main advantage that the Minx XL has over the Min22 is that the Minx XL has a bigger woofer that can deliver more bass. That being said, the Minx XL doesn’t have the BMR technology that the Min22 has.

While the Minx XL are small, they are very powerful and work well with many different genre’s of music. Whether you listen to classical, jazz, rock, pop, rap, or anything else, you should expect a great sound out of the Minx XL. Also despite the discrete size of the Minx XL, they don’t have much of a problem filling a room. So they should do well in a medium sized room.
The Cambridge Audio Minx xl speakers are much, much more neutral compared to the sx50’s. The sx50’s are somewhat bass heavy and fuzzy sounding in the highs compared to the Minx xl speakers
