Product Information

The product is a connector with series number 725
The connector is CSA-approved and UL recognized
Contact termination options include P.C. Tail and .025(0.64) Square Wire Wrap
The insulator body has a high profile of .645(16.38) with an end-notch option
The compliant section for gas-tight reliable connection in plated through holes eliminates soldering operation
The connector accepts between-contact and in-contact polarizing keys (special features, if requested)
The recommended daughter board has a board tab of .440 (11.18), key cutouts of .080 (2.03) for the in-contact polarizing key and .050 (1.27) for between contact polarizing key, and row spacing of .200 (5.08)
The recommended motherboard hole pattern has a diameter of .008 (0.20) and code 101 for single-row versions and code 201 for make-before-break (M.B.B) point contacts
Single-row versions may require backup springs depending upon the application

Product Usage Instructions

Select the appropriate contact termination option based on the application – P.C. Tail or .025(0.64) Square Wire Wrap
Select the appropriate contact code based on the tail length requirement – 520, 522, 525 for P.C. Tail and 540, 541, 545 for .025(0.64) Square Wire Wrap
Select the appropriate contact rows based on the requirement – Single Row or Double Row
Select the appropriate insulator option based on the requirement – .645(16.38) Full Height Ends or .550(13.97) Notched Ends
Select the appropriate polarizing feature based on the requirement – Between Contact Polarizing Key P/N 341-240-318 or Proposed In-Contact Polarizing Key P/N 725-240-328
Use the recommended daughter board with the connector and ensure that it has a board tab of .440 (11.18), key cutouts of .080 (2.03) for the in-contact polarizing key and .050 (1.27) for between contact polarizing key, and row spacing of .200 (5.08)
Use the recommended motherboard hole pattern with a diameter of .008 (0.20) and code 101 for single-row versions and code 201 for make-before-break (M.B.B) point contacts
In case of single-row versions, backup springs may be required depending upon the application
