The unit is hard wired. You will need a separate 220V line and breaker for each coil. That is, a single coil system requires one 220 volt line and breaker, a two coil requires two lines and breakers, etc.

No, it came with everything that was needed to mount it on the wall. We did have to purchase the heavy duty wire necessary to connect it to our electrical system. By the way, we are extremely pleased with this tankless water heater!
