Use
Operating instructions
Due to its wide measurement range, this thermometer can be used for many
areas of application. But please note that the measuring has to be done at a
room temperature of between 0°C and +50°C. The functionality of the device
is otherwise not guaranteed.
• To measure the temperature of frozen food, remove the frozen food from
the freezer.
• For temperature measurement during roasting or baking, remove the dish
from the oven. Measure the temperature as described below. Remove the
thermometer from the dish before putting it back into the oven.
• Ensure that you do not measure the temperature of meat too close to
the bones or layers of fat. With poultry that is not stuffed, do not stick the
temperature sensor into the cavity. Both cases can lead to inexact measurements.
• After each push of a button, the display will light up for approx. 15 seconds.
• If no button is pushed or no measuring is done for approx. 20 minutes, the
device will shut off automatically.
• The desired unit of measurement will be retained after switching off.

Measurement

  1. Remove the protective cap from the temperature sensor. Clean the temperature
    sensor before initial use.
