SS-101-BK Subaru Oil Filter Anti Drain Adapter

Installation Instructions:
For use on FA20 and FB20 Engines w/o factory oil cooler.
Step 1: Remove oil filter.
Step 2: Install adapter without base seal O-ring. Torque to 30 ft.lbs. using 1 ¼” Deep Socket.
Step 3: Establish port to be utilized for air valve.
Step 4: Remove adapter.
Install hex plugs in two ports not utilized.
Step 5: Install Viton O-ring and lubricate with oil. Torque to 30 ft.lbs. using 1 ¼” Deep Socket.
Step 6: Install air valve.
Step 7: Install appropriate size oil filter that contains M22x1.5 threads. Subaru oil filters will not fit this adapter.
Prior to servicing for oil and filter change, apply compressed air with air chuck for 3 seconds, this will evacuate oil filter for easy and clean oil filter removal.
