Product Information
The 2024 Encore GX is a compact SUV manufactured by Buick. It is
the first Buick in North America to feature a revamped interior and
new Virtual Cockpit System. The vehicle comes with bespoke Pearl
Nickel 19-inch wheels on Avenir. It is available in two variants –
1.2L and 1.3L. The 1.2L variant has an estimated fuel economy of 29
MPG in the city and 30 MPG on the highway. The 1.3L variant has an
estimated fuel economy of 29 MPG (FWD) / 31 MPG (FWD) / 26 MPG
(AWD) / 28 MPG (AWD) in the city and highway. The vehicle has a
maximum cargo room of 50.2 cubic feet with the rear seat
folded.
Product Usage Instructions
To use the Virtual Cockpit System, turn on the ignition and
press the “MENU” button on the steering wheel. Use the arrow keys
to navigate through the menu options and press the “OK” button to
select an option. The Virtual Cockpit System displays important
information such as speed, navigation, and media in a
high-resolution digital display.
The Encore GX comes with select driver assistance technologies
that provide added safety and convenience while driving. These
technologies include Automatic Emergency Braking, Lane Keep Assist
with Lane Departure Warning, and Rear Cross Traffic Alert.
The vehicle is equipped with a 9-speed automatic transmission
(1.3L AWD) that provides smooth and efficient shifting. To drive
the vehicle, press the brake pedal and shift the gear lever to “D”
for Drive or “R” for Reverse. Use the accelerator pedal to control
the speed of the vehicle.
When loading cargo, fold down the rear seat to access the
maximum cargo room of 50.2 cubic feet. To fold down the rear seat,
locate the release lever on the side of the seat and pull it
forward. Make sure that all cargo is securely fastened and does not
exceed the weight limit of the vehicle.
