This device may be used by children aged 12 and up, and may also be used by persons with physical, sensory or mental disabilities, on condition that adequate supervision is provided or they have been instructed on how to operate the device safely and are aware of any potential risks. Children should not be allowed to play with the device. Cleaning and user maintenance should not be performed by unsupervised children. Parents should not let their child use this device unsupervised. The product should be stored out of the reach of children.
Do not transport an additional person, children, or goods. Exceeding the weight limit may cause injuries and damage the device. That the user is within the weight limit does not mean they are tall enough to maintain control of the device. The charger may be used by children aged 8 years and over and by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lacking experience or knowledge, if they are properly supervised or if they have been given instructions on the safe use of the device and are aware of the risks involved. Children must not play with the device. Cleaning and maintenance by the user must not be carried out by unsupervised children. Be sure to use only the charger supplied with the product. - This is an individual transportation device. It is therefore not suitable for competitions or extreme sports, and must never be used in a skate park. Do not use the scooter to go up or down stairs, perform jumps, jump over obstacles, or perform tricks or dangerous acts. This device is neither a toy nor a fitness device.
This product has not been designed for professional or commercial use, such as: rentals, forming a fleet of vehicles, business trips. - This equipment should be operated with care on a level, clean, dry, gravel and grease-free surface because the equipment requires friction between the wheels and the ground to move. Avoid obstacles, holes, bumps and sewer grates that could cause accidents. Slow down on speed bumps.
Keep your distance from other road users and respect the rules of the road. You are not immune to the risks incurred by the behavior of other users. Anticipate obstacles and traffic with an adapted speed. The stopping distance is correlated to your speed. Avoid sudden maneuvers and braking; the machine can slip, lose its balance, or even fall, even on a smooth, flat surface. Also be careful to anticipate braking distances in wet weather and/or on wet pavement. The same applies to pedestrians who may cross without seeing you. You must always be very vigilant and stay clear of other pedestrians and road users.
On sidewalks, pedestrian areas, buildings or any other place dedicated to pedestrians, you must move with your scooter in hand.
WARNING! Never use the product outside of the areas authorized by the regulations. Be sure to signal your presence when approaching a cyclist or pedestrian who may not have seen or heard you. To prevent unauthorised use, be sure to remove the key from the ignition between uses, in order to prevent unintentional or intentional misuse. - This device must be turned off before being folded and stored away. For instructions on this, please refer to the “User guide” section of this manual. When stopping or charging, because the unit is freewheeling, be sure to store your unit flat and in a convenient location when not in use to prevent unauthorized use or unintentional movement due to its weight.
- Please inspect the unit before each use. If you notice loose parts, low battery alerts, flat tires, excessive wear, strange noises, malfunctioning, or anything else that is abnormal, stop riding the unit immediately and seek professional help. If the unit is equipped with mechanical brakes, please make sure they are not chafed by cable tension or other problems as this will cause the unit to slow down and not run normally. Also, overheating of the brakes can affect their effectiveness.
Make sure that the steering system is properly adjusted and that all connections and screws are tight and in good condition before each use. If after tightening the bolts, you find that there is any play that may affect safe driving, contact your dealer for more information or service.
Check that all safety devices (braking, lighting) are working properly. The folding system device must be securely locked in its vertical driving position.
