The component parts
Check and identify the parts in this model kit as follows:
- 4 plywood sheets (as indicated on the next page)
- Wooden dowel for the axle; sandpaper to clean edges
- Electric motor with integral gearbox
- 3 fixing screws: 2 for the motor; 1 for the drive shaft
- Screwdriver to secure the fixing screws
- Battery case with On/Off switch + wire leads
- Engenius track marbles: 4 black + 4 white
Preparation
Use the plywood board illustrations on the right to help you identify the model pieces. Component parts are coloured and the kit is assembled in the following order:
- Spiral track and support elements
- Zig Zag track and support elements
- Drive cogs and track links
- Electric motor elements
The assembly instructions are shown in a series of pictures, where the parts required are numbered. Identify the parts then separate them from their plywood frames.
Follow the ¢ arrows that take you from one stage to the next. Interlink slots in the plywood and push them together in the direction indicated as follows: Assembly should take from 2 to 3 hours to complete.
