The SR850’s are semi-open headphones designed to provide a linear frequency response making them extremely accurate and great for critical mixing or for music playback. The headphones high frequency response is smooth and sweet, and the bass response is warm and tight, thanks to the 50 mm neodymium drivers. The semi-open, or circumaural design reduces ear fatigue and is easy to listen to during long mixing or listening sessions. The SR850 employs soft ear cushions that are comfortable and fit snugly over most any ear, and the self-adjusting band ensures a good fit. Whether your are just kicking back and listing to your MP3 player, or mixing your digital recording, the SR850 headphones are an ideal choice. Should your unit ever require servicing, a Return Authorization number (RA) must be obtained before shipping your unit to Samson. Without this number, the unit will not be accepted. Please call Samson at 1-800-3SAMSON (1-800-372-6766) for a Return Authorization number prior to shipping your unit. Please retain the original packing materials and if possible, return the unit in the original carton and packing materials. If you purchased your Samson product outside the United States, please contact your local distributor for warranty information and service.

To protect your hearing, the Samson SR850’s should always be used at as low a volume as possible. We recommend that you stringently follow the guidelines established by the U.S. Occupational Safety Health Administration (OSHA) regarding maximum time exposure at various sound pressure levels:
- Don’t use this product for more than 8 hours at 90 dB SPL
- Don’t use this product for more than 4 hours at 95 dB SPL
- Don’t use this product for more than 2 hours at 100 dB SPL
- Don’t use this product for more than 1 hour at 105 dB SPL
- Don’t use this product for more than 1/2 hour at 110 dB SPL
- Don’t use this product for more than 15 minutes at 115 dB SPL
- Don’t operate at listening levels of greater than 120 dB SPL!
Pay attention to what your ears are telling you! Ringing is a sign that you have set the gain levels too high and that damage may result. We recommend that you consult with a qualified audiologist if you exhibit ringing or any other symptoms.

They would if you only want the audio. It dines not have a mic.
There’s no tension adjustment. It has a string on each side that stretches to fit your head height. The headphone is pretty flexible so I don’t think it’ll be an issue for most people

Yes. These are opened backed reference headphones. If your looking for no leak go with some closed back cans.
No. These are wired headphones. You need a headphone jack to make them work.
You would have to get other adapters to plug these headphones in to possibly make them bluetooth capable, but at that point,
you’re spending more $$ and getting bulkier equipment.
You’re better off just looking for dedicated bluetooth headphones with that functionality built in.
None that I had a problem with. The biggest improvement you can make to these is get earpad replacements , mine are so comfortable now , Iforget they’re on.
Yes, the headphones should work. I listen to music with them in my IPhone. I don’t think the sound/volume will be cut in half; actually, you may get better sound.
There are a few, but the Pop Voice Attachable Microphone is a condensor mic and it’s really inexpensive for 12.99. I don’t use to many attachable mics because I use my headphones for studio recording.
Purchased mine 03/24/14 from Amazon and the box was not sticker sealed, however they do appear to be brand new. The headphones were not in a plastic bag, were simply sitting in the shape molded Styrofoam packaging insert.
